Scope The Sabri Ülker Food Research Foundation presents the Sabri Ülker Science Award to the applicant with the most outstanding project, which provides unprecedented studies on the topics of food, nutrition, and healthy living without corporate sponsorship. At the end of the award ceremony, the science board of The Sabri Ülker Food Research Foundation determines the topic of competition for the following year. Applications are open to all real persons. Turkish and foreign nationals may apply. Project implementation objectives must encourage the development of a balanced eating and healthy living habits in society. Projects must be original and innovative and they must be based on scientific research. Undergraduate, graduate, and PhD students may apply by submitting their dissertations. The project must have been completed and must not have been commercialized. Projects must not have received an award in a previous competition and have not been previously implemented. The application must be done by Project Representative. If more than one person applies for the award, it is obligatory to show the participation percentage of the team members to the Project. Award will be shared to the Project team according to the percentages shown in deed of consent and paid to their acoounts as shown in the deed of consent. The applications with more than one person must be accompanied with a Deed of Consent (see Appendix), which must be signed by all team members in order for their application to be accepted. Incomplete applications will not be considered. The applicant is responsible for all the information provided in the submission documents. An award winner cannot use the same project to apply to another Sabri Ülker Science Award in subsequent years. However, participants who have not been granted an award may use the same project in future competitions. A person may apply to the competition with multiple projects. The Sabri Ülker Food Research Foundation employees, member of the Science Committee, and Jury members or their relatives cannot apply.
